Comments:

All-new 2005-06 Topps Style ’52 Basketball retraces history back to 1952. Featuring the most recognizable Topps baseball design in history, these basketball cards treat the stars of today with the style of yesterday. Nice new set of cards with that throwback style look to them. Really nice color photos went into the base set here. The facsimile autos on the front are a nice touch also. The back of the cards has the statistics from the 04-05 season along with a short bio of the player.

   Rookie Card Scan
Comments:

We pulled over (30) rookie cards in this box including almost all of the top rookie crop of this year.

   Insert Card Scans

Comments:

The parallels we pulled were chrome versions of Anderson Varejao and Antawn Jamison numbered to /499. We pulled (2) refractors also in Luol Deng and Josh Howard numbered to /299. Lastly for the inserts was a Yellow printing plate of Melvin Ely numbered 1/1.

   Game-Used Scan

Comments:

We pulled (3) GU in our box as the odds state. They are cards of Damon Stoudamire, DerMarr Johnson and Brian Cook. Nice quality cards, but only one color on all of them.

   Autograph Scan
Comments:

The (2) autographs we pulled were a Charles Smith and Sean May. The autographs are very clean and crisp without any breaks.

   The Final Verdict!

I rate this box a 4 of 5 HI Fives. You can usually find these boxes in the $72 to $87 price range on the web sites I have checked. Good value for the money in my opinion with (3) jersey cards and (2) autographs and a ton of rookies per box. Most of these cards would be great for TTM or IP autographs. If you are looking for rookies this is a good buy also.
