Comments:

The 2006-07 Topps Basketball is a nice quality product at the low-end of the market only in price. The back of the cards has a complete listing of the players NBA career record and a short bio of that player. A note on the back describes a highlight in the players career. The Topps logo is located on top of the card in either corner. The extreme top of the card list the players team. The bottom of the card lists the players position, name and number. Everything is easily readable.

   Rookie Card Scan
Comments:

The rookies have the rookie card designation below the Topps logo and also have "RC" where their number would have been on the bottom. Most of the rookies have nice posed/action shots from their college days as evidenced by their college uniforms. There are some RC variations this year as well with posed shots from Draft night. We pulled (86) rookies of one form or another from our 36 packs of cards in this box.

  • (73) regular rookie cards
  • (12) rookie card variations
  • (1) rookie variation gold border /500

   Insert Card Scans

Comments:

The inserts cards came fast and furious in this box as well. Here's the breakdown for inserts we pulled;

    Inserts
  • (2) black bordered base parallel /99
  • (1) gold bordered base parallel /500
  • (9) Larry Bird inserts
  • (6) Own The Game inserts
  • (8) Clutch City inserts
  • (2) Pride Of The Program inserts
  • (5) Hobby Masters inserts
  • (2) NBA 2K7 inserts

   The Final Verdict!

I rate this box a 4 of 5 HI Fives. 2006-07 Topps Basketball is a nice rookie card product. If you want rookie cards then this is the box you want to try. You can usually find these boxes in the $35 to $49 price range. Good value for the money in my opinion. At $1 to $1.50 a pack this product almost takes collecting back to its roots.
