2006-07 Topps Turkey Red Basketball
Each sealed box contains 24 packs of 5 cards each in a 275 card base set. >>> Each box contains TWO Memorabilia and/or Autograph cards and ONE Cabinet card box loader (look for single and dual autograph memorabilia cards). Parallel sets: Red, White 1:4, Black 1:24, Gold (#`d to 25), Suede (#`d to 5), and Wood (#`d to 1). Inserts: Memorabilia cards (7 variations including Suede > #`d to 10 and Wood > #`d to 1), Autograph cards (7 variations including Suede > #`d to 3 and Wood > #`d to 1), and Framed Printing Plate cards (each is a 1-of-1).

"The Turkey Red revival has taken the hobby stores by storm, putting today's greatest stars on the best card design of all time." Now you can get these fantastic cards in the Basketball version. The previous Baseball and Football went over big in the card market and these should as well. The front of the cards shows some real nice photos of current players and greats from the past, such as, Pete Maravich, Kareem Jabbar, George Gervin, John Havlicek and many, many others. The backs of the cards has a nice in-depth biography of the player.

Box-Topper Card Scan |

| Comments:
The box-topper was a nice high-quality card of Amare Stoudemire of the Phoenix Suns. This card measures 6 inches wide by 8 1/4 in length. The card comes sandwiched in between two pieces of cardboard to ensure that the card isn't bent. The box-topper could have been an autograph card, but we weren't that fortunate.

| Comments:
The Game Used card we pulled is of Ronnie Brewer of the Utah Jazz. Nice quality card in my opinion that features the player along with a piece of authentic player-worn jersey.

The autograph is a super nice autograph of Hilton Armstrong of the NO / OK Hornets. We were fortunate here to pull a very limited GOLD version of this player. This card is #d 3/5. Nice clean autograph with no bubbling, separation or breaks.

rate this box a 4 1/2 of 5 HI Fives. 2006-07 Topps Turkey Red Basketball
is a medium-priced, high-quality sports card product. You can usually
find these boxes in the $48 to $66 price range. Very good value
for the money in my opinion. A good number of rookies along with the possibility of pulling two autographs in this box, at this price, is very reasonbable. |
