   Base Card Scan
Comments:

Bowman Chrome is usually one of the standards in the industry and this years 2006 Bowman Chrome Football leads the way in the mid-range products. The base cards have that nice high-quality look to them as always. The front of the cards has a nice action shot of the player from during the season. The backs of the cards have a nice bio of the player along with their 2005 statistics. The bottom section on the back is titled Bowman Briefing. Here it list three areas called Resume, Skills and Evolution.

   Rookie Card Scan
Comments:

We pulled (25) rookie cards in this one box of one form or another. Here's the breakdown on the rookie pulls;

  • (19) Regular
  • (3) Refractor
  • (1) Xfractor /250
  • (1) Uncirculated /519
  • (1) Autographed

   Insert Card Scans
Comments:

The only inserts were (2) refractors of veterans Ronnie Brown and Roy Williams. Nice high-quality refractors.

   Box-Topper Card Scan
Comments:

The box-topper was a nice uncirculated rookie card of Dquell Jackson. The card is #d to /519.

   Auto Card Scan
Comments:

The autograph is a real nice autograph of Brandon Williams of the San Francisco 49ers. Nice clean autograph with no bubbling, separation or breaks.

   The Final Verdict!

I rate this box a 4 1/2 of 5 HI Fives. 2006 Bowman Chrome Football is a medium-priced, high-quality sports card product. You can usually find these boxes in the $65 to $78 price range. Very good value for the money in my opinion. A good number of rookies along with a rookie autograph per box.
