Comments:

The 2006 Bowman Football is a nice quality product at the low-end of the market only in price. The back of the cards has stats of the players previous year in the NFL. There is also a short bio of the player along with an area called "Bowman Briefing" which highlights include; Resume, Skills and Evolution. The The Bowman logo is on the front upper left of the card. The bottom front of the card lists the players' name and team. Everything is easily readable.

There are parallels of the base that include the gold bordered thicker card and the blue bordered /500 cards.

Comments:

The rookies have the rookie card designation below the Bowman logo and the players name and team are on the bottom of the card. The rookies have nice posed or action shots from training camp or preseason. There are also (2) Bowman Chrome rookies in every pack as well.

The back of the cards has stats of the players previous year in College. There is also a short bio of the player along with an area called "Bowman Briefing" which highlights include; Resume, Skills and Up Close.

We pulled (160) rookies of one form or another from our 24 packs of cards in this box. Here's the breakdown for this box of Bowman "Home of the Rookie Card";

  • (95) regular rookie cards
  • (48) rookie card chrome
  • (14) rookie gold border parallel
  • (2) rookie blue border parallel /500
  • (1) rookie white border parallel /125

Comments:

The Game Used card we pulled was of Matt Leinart of the Arizona Cardinals. The card has a piece of the Draft Day Jersey.

Comments:

A real nice autograph pull of one of the new up-and-coming receivers in the NFL. This autograph is the Signs of the Future GOLD version /50 of Chad Jackson of the New England Patriots. Very nice high quality autograph with no breaks or bubbling.

   The Final Verdict!

I rate this box a 4 1/2 of 5 HI Fives. 2006 Bowman Football is a nice rookie card product. If you want rookie cards then this is the box you want to try. You can usually find these boxes in the $40 to $50 price range. Very good value for the money in my opinion.
