Comments:

Fresh off its red hot debut in Baseball, the Topps Triple Threads phenomenon comes to the NFL with 2006 Topps Triple Threads Football. The base cards front has a very unique design and a ribbed texture on the entire front. These cards are numbered to /1199 on the extreme lower portion of the card in the center. The text is a little hard to read unless the card is presented at an angle for easier viewing. The back of the cards has a very short bio of the player along with the players stats from 2005 and career total stats. The lower portion of the backs has a section called Triple Take, where they explain highlights and quirks of the players career.

Comments:

Our two parallel pulls were an Emerald version Jeremy Shockey of the New York Giants #d to /199 and a Sepia version of Edgerrin James of the Arizona Cardinals #d to 499.

Comments:

The AUTOGRAPHED TRIPLE RELIC CARD is a very nice pull of Eric Dickerson of the "then" Los Angeles Rams. A very high-quality triple jersey autographed card. Nice clean autograph with no bubbling, separation or breaks.

   The Final Verdict!

I rate this box a 4 of 5 HI Fives. 2006 Topps Triple Threads Football is a higher priced, high-quality sports card product. You can usually find these boxes in the $150 to $195 price range on sites I have checked. It seems to be a hit-or-miss product in regards to value for your money. I must admit that I have purchased a box and did very well. I also would have liked to see the rookies in the base version of the card. This review is only of one pack received. We were fortunate to get the pack with the autographed relic card.
