   Base Card Scan
Comments:

2006 Bowman Baseball is a very nice product with a very reasonable price tag to match. Parallels we pulled are of the gold and blue bordered variations. The gold aren't numbered and the blues are numbered to /500. Can you say, "Home of the Rookie Card" any more pronounced than Bowman does. The back of the cards has a complete statistical listing of the players' last year in the major or minor leagues. All cards also have a very nice facsimile auto on the front that enhances the card appearance.

   Rookie Card Scan
Comments:

The rookie cards are of a mixed variety this year with the Bowman and Bowman Chrome saying 1st Card around the Bowman or Bowman Chrome logo. The Bowman version with a green outline instead of the normal blue has the rookie card logo on it. All of the rookie cards have posed shots as opposed to action shots. The back of the cards have the players' stats from their last year of minor league experience. We pulled over (100) rookies from our 24 packs of cards in this box.

   Insert Card Scans
Comments:

Not really an insert, but I wanted to get the blue bordered version parallel somewhere in this review. Also, we pulled a very nice Xfractor 1st Card of Asdrubal Cabrera numbered to /250.

   Autograph Card Scan
Comments:

The autographed card we pulled is of Ricky Nolasco of the Florida Marlins.A very nice blue-bordered version numbered to /500. A very solid autograph with no breaks or bubbling of any kind. The rookie card logo should have been placed elsewhere on the card because part of the new logo is covered by the autograph sticker.

   The Final Verdict!

I rate this box a 4 of 5 HI Fives. A very nice quality set for a reasonably low price. You can usually find these boxes in the $45 to $65 price range on the web sites I have checked. Good value for the money in my opinion. If you like collecting rookies; then this box could be what you're looking for.
