Base Card Scan |
| Comments:
The 2006 Topps Chrome Baseball design this year is nice and clean looking and historically near the same as regular 2006 Topps Baseball. Really high-quality cards with superb action or posed shots that we expect from a Topps Chrome product. The back of the cards has a complete bio of the player since starting in the majors.

Rookie / First Year Card Scan |
| Comments:
The rookies have the new rookie logo on the bottom portion of the card. The backs either have the players' short bio from the minor leagues or from their last college year. We pulled (13) rookies of one form or another from our 24 packs of cards in this box.
- (9) regular rookie cards
- (2) refractor rookie cards
- (2) autographed rookie cards

Box Topper Card Scan |
| Comments:
Our box-topper was a Red Border parallel refractor of John Buck.
Autograph Scan |
| Comments:
Two rookie players autographed cards topped the box off very nicely. The autographs are of Adam Wainwright of the St. Louis Cardinals and Ryan Garko of the Cleveland Indians. The autographs are clean and crisp without any breaks. Very nice high-quality autographs.

The
Final Verdict! |

| I
rate this box a 4 1/2 of 5 HI Fives. 2006 Topps Chrome Baseball is a winner. I would not hesitate to purchase this product at all because of the high quality of the base set, refractors and autographed cards in the box we opened to review. You can usually find these boxes in the $42 to $55 price range. Good value for the money in my opinion. |
