Football
Each sealed box
contains 36 packs of 12 cards each in a 385 card base
set. Parallel sets (1:9): Gold, Black (#`d to 51), and
Platinum (each is a 1-of-1). Inserts: Special Edition
Rookies 1:12, NFL 83/06, Own the Game, Hobby Masters,
Ring of Honor, Hall of Fame (Tribute, Autograph, and Cut
Signature), Memorabilia cards 1:200 (NFL 83/06 and All-Pro),
Super Bowl Memorabilia cards (Super Tix, Super Tix Autograph,
Game Breakers, and SB XL Autograph), and Autograph cards
1:225 (Signature Series, NFL 83/06: Single > #`d to 50
and Dual > #`d to 25, Ring of Honor, and Topps). ***Insert

2006 Topps Football
is a very nice designed set that is very similar to
the baseball sets this year. The cards have nice posed/action
shots of the veteran players. The back of the cards
has a complete statistical listing of the players' history
in the NFL.

| Comments:
All of the rookie
cards have posed shots from training camp. The back of
the cards have the players' complete stats from their
college experience. The rookie cards are designated below
the Topps logo. We pulled (76) rookies from our 36 packs
of cards in this box. The mixture of rookies was;

- (1) black bordered rookie /51
- (4) Special Edition rookies

Final Verdict! |

| I
rate this box a 4 1/2 of 5 HI Fives based on the abundance
of rookies you can pull. A very nice quality set for a
reasonably low price. You can usually find these boxes
in the $38 to $55 price range on the web sites I have
checked. Good value for the money in my opinion. If you
like collecting rookies; then this box could be what you're
looking for. Of course we would have liked to have pulled
an autographed card, but we did meet the odds as set-up. |
