Comments:

2006 Topps Total Football is a very nice designed set. A real nice simplified design and all of the text is very readable. There are (5) parallel sets to collect as well; Blue, Red, Silver, Gold, and Black. The back of the cards has sections called Topps Tracker which lists the players strengths. The 2nd section is Role which basically tells what the player is expected to do on the field for his set of skills. Lastly is the Stats section that lists the players last years stats along with career stats.

Comments:

All of the rookie cards are posed/semi-action shots from Training Camp. The back of the cards have the players' stats from their last year of college experience and their college stat totals. The rookie cards have the Topps Total rookie logo on the bottom portion of the card. We pulled (151) rookies from our 24 packs of cards in this box. Here was the mixture of the rookie pulls;

  • (138) Regular Rookies
  • (7) Blue Rookies
  • (5) Red Rookies
  • (1) Silver Rookie

Comments:

The inserts came fast and furious in this box as well. They include;

  • (24) Sports Illustrated For Kids
  • (3) Award Winners
  • (3) Total Topps
  • (2) Total Production

   The Final Verdict!

I rate this box a 4 of 5 HI Fives. A very nice quality set for a reasonably low price. You can usually find these boxes in the $32 to $59 price range on the web sites I have checked. Good value for the money in my opinion. If you like collecting rookies; then this box could be what you're looking for. Also, this is another great product for IP and TTM autograph hunters. Not a real shiny surface and should take an autograph well.
