Base Card Scan |

| Comments:
A very nice, new and clean design for this fantastic high-end product from Topps. The new Topps Triple Threads logo is at the bottom center of the cards, right above the players' name, team and position. The front of the set boasts some nice action/posed shots of your favorite players. The back of the card lists a short bio of the player and the players' previous years statistics.

Insert Card Scans |

| Comments:
The inserts were Nomar Garciaparra sepia version numbered 131/150 and the emerald version numbered 50/99. Also, pulled was a Hall of Fame card of George Brett. The triple threads heroes pulled from this box were Carl Yastrzemski and Mickey Mantle. The back of the heroes cards have the triple crown season as depicted on the cards front. All cards are of very nice thick quality stock.

Game-Used Scan |
| Comments:
Here's where this set gets its name! A super nice quality triple GOLD game-used of Moises Alou (bat), Monte Irvin (bat) and Barry Bonds (jersey). This triple game-used is numbered very low at 2/9.

Autograph Scan |
| Comments:
The autographed dual jersey we pulled was of rookie Craig Hansen of the Boston Red Sox. The card is an emerald version numbered 74/75. Also, the rookie card emblem logo is on-card below the triple threads logo. There is also a very prominent rookie logo centered between the two pieces of jersey. The jersey pieces are R and C for rookie card. Nice design for the rookie cards in this set as well. The autograph is clean and crisp with no breaks or bubbling.

The
Final Verdict! |

| I
rate this box a 4 1/2 of 5 HI Fives. This box is a little pricey, but the rewards can be of great value as well. If you would like to get some autographs on the base cards, they would take an in-person or TTM autograph very well. These boxes are sky-rocketing right now with prices in the $175 to $249 range on some sites I haved checked. My favorite card from the break is the Hansen rookie card. |
