Comments:

Topps brings back another nostalgic design with its newly released 2007 Topps Heritage Baseball. This product was designed to mimic the 1958 Topps design. The front of the cards is real clean looking with mainly head shots of the players. The players name is at the top of the card and at the bottom there is the team name and logo along with the players position and team name. The back of the cards have a short bio along with some fun facts about that major leaguer. The stat section lists the players previous years stats along with lifetime stats.

   Rookie Cards Scan
Comments:

The rookie cards are the same as the base except for the Rookie Card logo that is near the top and is located on either the right or left side. The back of the cards has the same information as the base except the players Minor League record is shown. We pulled 13 rookies from our box.

Comments:

The inserts are very abundant in this Topps Heritage box. Here is the breakdown on the inserts...

  • (6) Team cards
  • (3) Flashbacks
  • (12) All-stars
  • (1) New-age performer
  • (2) Chrome /1958
  • (1) Alex Rodriguez Road to 500
  • (2) Then and Now
  • (4) Mickey Mantle Home Run number

Comments:

The box-topper was a Team Emblem of the Kansas City Athletics. This is sort of like the blankets issued in previous Topps products.

   The Final Verdict!

I rate this box a 3 1/2 of 5 HI Fives. 2007 Topps Heritage Baseball is a nice new designed sports card product. You can usually find these boxes in the $43 to $59 price range. Very good value for the money in my opinion. No Jersey or autographed cards were pulled from this box which if pulled would have raised this rating to a four or four and one half. These would be great cards to purchase if you were a TTM (through-the-mail) or IP (in-person) autograph seeker.
