2010-11 Card products release dates

Link to 2010-11 SPx Hockey pics & info

Sticking with its standard 1 autographed jersey card per box, SPx will showcase another jersey card of a top rookie this year. Possibly delivered in a shrunken down pool of Rookie Jersey cards or via a Rookie Materials insert, this secondary hit is lined up to deliver more bang for your buck!

Add in an Ice Premieres Rookie Card, and you can see the direction SPx is headed quite clearly

Looks boring

That's brutal on 2 fronts (if you are reading this Al)....

1. Come on - interest...
2. Come on - we have to pay for both at the same time.... Yikes.

other dates we have a different date for are:

SPx Jan 26
SPGU Jan 5
OPC Dec 14
Black Diamond Nov 30

I just an email from my distributor that Score and Certified will both be released Oct. 20th. Way to spread it out guys!

Doesn't make any sense to me either. I realize they are 2 totally different products catering to 2 different segments of the hobby but you are forcing many collectors to choose one or the other whereas if you spread it out you are more likely to have those same collectors buy both.

I expect Certified to be pushed back farther or maybe score so both aren't released on the same day,
just my thought

Taylor Hall's First Rookie Card ...

... Slated for Certified Hockey along with Tyler Seguin, Brayden Schenn, Jeff Skinner and Oilers teammates Eberle and Paajarvi – who made their NHL debuts in early October and, as a result, will appear on their first Rookie Cards with the launch of Certified Hockey next week.

"There was a lot of anxiety among the collecting community when we announced that we were moving the Certified release date," says Al Muir, Panini America's Hockey Brand Manager. "But it was a calculated decision we felt was worth the risk. Not only did the benefit of extra time allow us to get additional top-flight autograph content into the product, it afforded us the opportunity to produce the first Rookie Cards of the NHL's next wave of superstars."
