Watched a complete video of it, it is.... wow. If Ward got off the track asap or atleast out of the lanes of active cars this could of been avoided BUT also if Stewart wasnt a hothead and attempted to buzz him and just kept visibly watching his surrounding and keeping professional then this could of been avoided on his end.
Im sure he is done for the season in Nascar and will think about his racing future.

Condolences and Prayers
Prayers and condolences out to the Ward Family and Friends.
When I heard about this and saw a video it made me completely sick to my stomach for most of the day.
I am not passing judgment on either party;(that is for the officials to decide);There is no place in sport for this type of behavior from anyone. Confrontation which may have lead to a fist fight ;I can understand being competitive but come on gentlemen this is a sport.
Enough rant ..the main concern is the grief the family has to deal with this tragedy.

You got it all wrong in those type of cars a driver has very little control. In order to move the car you have to hit the gas also he was looking for debris on the ground and had cars in front of him. Tony did that nothing wrong with what he did he was trying to miss the guy . Also all the wrong in this belongs to Ward he should have never got out of his car until he was off the track. The media is making this about Tony's past and had nothing to do with it at all. Sorry the guy lost his life but again it would have never happened if he stayed in his car.

Everyone is in-titled to his or her opinions regarding this matter. I seen what I seen just as others have. I cant speak for others but I am not a dirt-track racer nor have I been in any race car, I just go by basic facts known only as a fan of what drivers need to do while behind the wheel.
