Cards look great. UD Could have a big hit with this, I am hoping for "0" redemptions in this stuff, and they may just pull this great product off!!!

Well, after seeing the designs, looks like I'm flipping from building the AKA autos (which aren't all that attractive) to the HOF auto set instead.

Am I the only one that doesn't find the set particularly good looking? They seem very mediocre, almost bordering bland.

I do like the player combos though

I agree, for the most part it is quite bland. I do dig the HOF autos though.

nice to see that Dryden lent his image for a base card and 2 inserts (retired #'s, trophy winners). i am gonna at least chase that base card, pretty cool looking with the bullseye mask on... and looking at the AKA auto set, i think that i am gonna have to chase down a "Digging Dickie" Moore card, just based on (dirty thoughts) principle...

I was hoping to pick up a copy myself for my O6 HOFer collection...no other reason. I'll probably try to pick up a copy of Pocket Rocket as well, but it looks like you'll be competing with me over that one too wned:

What are the chances that cards # 201 - 300 are SHORT PRINTED?

I would imagine that they are but to what extent??? there are 24 of the cards 201-300 per box at 24 packs a box that one card from 201- 300 per pack.

You would, but you'd be wrong. Roy's retirement night was Nov. 22nd, and this set was originally scheduled to come out in early-mid January. We all know how UD struggles with getting small things right--notice that players who moved in the off-season are still being pictured in their old team's jerseys?--but in this case there simply wasn't enough turnaround time from the event to the production line.

Very true, you would think that it could have been possible, but then UD does have a stigma attached to them due to their flaws. And I would probably be pised to pull a Retired Jerseys Insert card ROY *REDEMPTION*!! lol
