WOW... I have to admit i've never seen these 2 before !!!! wow wow wow wow wow wow wow!!!!!:Nice stuff.... they look great together!!!:beer:

To the member curious about the sedin "screw up". Players often number their sticks 1-5 or how ever many they have for them on the bench, in case they break and the trainer knows which one to grab or what is the next to be used...

.......goo........awesome collection, but how many full sized sticks could you have bought for similar coin?

I THINK I MIGHT HAVE A PROBLEM .......ARE THERE ANY PSYCHIATRIST'S ON THIS BOARD THAT CAN HELP ME DIAGNOSE THIS SYNDROME THAT I MAY HAVE CAUSE ALL I COULD THINK ABOUT YESTERDAY NIGHT WHILE LYING IN BED WITH MY WIFE WERE JEREMY'S DALE HAWERCHUK PROPERTY'S!!!!!!!!!!!!
:confused::confused::confused::confused:

LOL! Too funny. Your collection is stellar! I actually owned the Eric Staal at one time. Glad it found its way to you!

I pulled the Heatley 05/06, I let it go in a trade to Fawad because I wanted to eventually upgrade to a Property Of of a better player. Now I have no Property Of cards and I see it's gonna be a tall order to achieve my goal.

Oh well, nice collection Paolo!!! I'm gonna start saving up now for the day you get bored of this pursuit and sell them off!

The rumors are true, Paolo is a pleasure to deal with!

I bought this from him a year or two ago:

and he was a gentleman all the way!

Paolo, I have a proposal for you, I am hell bent on acquiring a nice Property Of, and I worry that when I achieve that goal, it's gonna be one you really want, and I won't want to move it. The good news is that I only want one little, measley, itty bitty Property Of card for my PC. How about you sell me one now, and that way you keep me out of the market, and I will never be in competition for one that you really want. You'll never have to worry about me getting to one first, unless they make a Don Cherry one of course, but since he only played in 1 NHL game, I think we're safe on that. This way you can decide which of your cards you can live without. I am 99.9999999999999% sure I know the answer, but I thought if I could phrase it in a way that shows that it's to your benefit, then the good card lord might shine favor down on me, lol! Can't fault a guy for trying.

Truly well done!

First off to the OP...that's impressive as hell. I've always enjoyed the Property Of sets (though I wish UD would actually do something with the sticks they took the nametags off of) so this show and tell is as cool as any.

Secondly...since I've seen it mentioned a couple times...for anybody wondering about the Sedin sticks, the reason they're numbered as such is because they keep 2 types of sticks on the bench...one for even strength/shorthanded situations (where the nameplate will say SEDIN) and the other for power plays (marked SEDIN 2.) Both Sedins play with the same model Nike stick, but you can usually distinguish which stick belongs to which Sedin fairly easily since I believe they write their jersey number at the top of the knob. Just wanted to clarify "SEDIN 2" doesn't mean it's Daniel Sedin's stick with a 2 missing/scratched off from the nameplate.

Gonna be hard to turn that offer down, eh Paolo?

Sean, that Gretzky/Crosby card is one for the ages. May go down as the most famous card of the 2000's and that one is 1/25. Very cool. I always love seeing that card! If Beckett still did the annual Hockey Card Hall of Fame inductions, that one would surely get in on the first ballot. Or did it get in their HCHOF already?

Anyway, this S&T is probably my favorite ever and I keep on looking at that first post. Sure is nice to be able to gaze over them at our leisure. Thanks Paolo!

I tend not to post/visit H.I (personal reasons revolving friendship!!) But out of courtesy and respect to one of the Hobby's true gentlemen, I just have to give my respect to this amazing display!!!

Paolo,

I have seen some very impressive show and tell's in my limited time in the hobby, but yours is the MOST IMPRESSIVE I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! IT IS NOT EVEN A CONTEST!!! I am glad to have witnessed and be part of some of it.... Your collection and love for the hobby is inspiring!! I think very few of us have your dedication and passion for what you collect... Keep it up my friend!!... As for the Messier Property of, well as much as I loved that card, it truly does belong in that PC of yours.......

Sincerely, Fawad.....

I had the Kessel last but traded it to Paolo for the Bergeron/Kessel Dual Auto Shield. He had purchased it for the express purpose of acquiring one of my Property Ofs. It worked!
