Gamers...what are you playing right now?

I haven't played Madden 11 yet but NHL 11 is awesome this year. A bunch of new aspects to the game and is definitely worth getting in my opinion. I have also been getting sick of MW2 and now that hacked lobbies hit the PS3 I hardly ever play it anymore.

Good to know, thanks. I might try to pick up a copy of NHL 11 then off ebay. I have noticed the hackers in MW2 also. I've mainly noticed guys calling in helicopters and/or AC130s over and over again in a single game. It doesn't happen too often, but when it does it is pretty frustrating.

What do you mean by hacked lobbies? What are the cheaters doing now?

Hacked lobbies have gone public, they used to only be able to do it in private matches . People can have super speed, aim bots, wall hacks, red laser sight, fly around, no score limit, unlimited chopper gunner AC130, make kills worth 100k xp, also they can delete all your stats, emblems, challenges. These hackers are pretty much creating their own game and screwing you if you randomly get put in a lobby with them. If you run into one of these lobbies turn your PS3 off immediately and your stats should be saved. TDM isn't hacked to often but every other game mode is getting ridiculous.

got Rock band 3 yesterday. WOW. is all i can say. Keyboard is so freaking hard. i have been struggling on easy. i cant wait for a few months down the road and i have it down.... so see you guys then.

Playing NBA 2K11 as part of a review. Best game intro ever.

The game itself is really good too. A few people have called it the best basketball game ever. I disagree. Pure basketball...maybe? But how can you ever top NBA Jam Tournament Edition?

I've been playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 online for the past year, but I'm getting tired of it. I'm thinking of selling it on ebay and buying either Madden 11 or NHL 11. Any opinions as to which one is better this year?

Madden's a lot of fun. I like that the speed burst button is gone. It makes running more realistic as you have to follow your blocks and let them develop.

I don't know if it's like that on 360 as I haven't touched MW2 in months but I know earllier in the year, there was a glitch where you could get care packages/emergency air drops with ease. Pretty sure they fixed that, though.

I really should break that out of the shrinkwrap packaging that has been sitting on my shelf for over a year.

Too many games on the back log.

Worth it. WAY worth it. If for no other reason than ridin' the lightnin'.

'Course, I can't finish this game FAST enough with FU2 live.

Haven't played hockey in a long time but I made the mistake of playing a game of NHL 10against my 8 year old son the other day and he defeated me for the first time in a shootout. Going to have to practice when he's in bed

Finishing up on the 2K11 review. There's a lot more outside the basketball aspect itself that makes it a pretty cool game.

Neversoft sent along another review copy of Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock since the first one didn't work, so this is going to be a music game review week since Rock Band 3's out as well.

Was bored tonight so I made a Be A GM on NHL 11. Substituted in all European teams and simmed season to see how it would turn out..... Patrick O'Sullivan won Art Ross, Rocket Richard,Lady Byng,Hart, and Conn Smythe. What a backward world

Capped off Infamous last night. Next up: Crumpling TIE fighters like paper and force-choking everything in sight.

Anyone do anything with the XBox Kinect at this point? I am thinking about getting this for the family for Christmas - we are far from gamers and would just be a family fun time event so nothing too elaborate is needed but it looks like fun - any thoughts?

I heard that the systems success is completely dependent on your living room design. In other words, unless you have at least 6 feet of clearance between you and the TV, and a minimum of 3 feet of clearance on all other sides of you, expect problems.

This. We have more than 6 feet between us and the TV length wise, but width is an issue. A friend of mine who purchased and brought his over is considering re-arranging his living room to be able to use his Kinect properly, which is pretty crazy because I have to be honest -- I wouldn't go to those lengths.

This isn't an issue for you guys since you live in a house Joe, or for us, but it's problematic for people that live in an apartment building since a lot of the Kinect Adventures games involve a crapload of jumping, and I can foresee a lot of noise complaints as a result. You've got little ones though Joe so it might be a fun family thing for sure. I don't think I'll be interested in purchasing unless someone like EA jumps in and adds more functionality into their sports games (like Fifa goalie control or NHL goalie control)

Let me know what you think. Loved the first one minus the odd targetting but hearing some bad reviews for this one. Apparently you can get through it in 4-5 hours. The mind trick addition sounds fun though.
