Gamers...what are you playing right now?

Gonna fire up Nazi zombies in a few minutes

I haven't tried it on Black Ops yet (Christmas Day) but my buddy says it's even more insane than WAW (which is what I'm playing it on right now). I can't wait to try 4 player splitscreen on Black Ops. 2 player split screen is the most fun I've had playing a game in the last two years.

Well after listening to people praise and bash black ops I went out last night and picked it up. The game is awesome and the graphics are great. I like it better than MW2. I also picked up Gran Turismo but have not taken it out of the wrapper yet because I am waiting for the Steering wheel.

i told you black ops was good! i didnt think it would be since infinity ward wasnt doing it, but after playing it the first time, i was hooked.

Waiting patiently (ok maybe not patiently) for Dead Space 2. If it's anywhere as enjoyable as the first I'll be happy.

My daughter being 4yrs old, wants epic mickey for xmas. We finally landed a copy for her and even bought her the limited paintbrush nunchuck. The reviews for this game are crazy...Anyone play it yet or see it played. Thanks
FYI only availible on WII

That's funny, I've heard very mixed reviews, (leaning towards poor) mainly that the game is all flash, and no substance and that the controls have some serious issues. That being said, this is not a kids game (difficult control scheme, piss poor camera design, no voice overs with the exception of the opening and ending sequences... everything else is text based). I'm thinking that Epic Mickey may be way too far over the head of a 4 year old. I'll rent it because admittedly it looks very pretty, but if the controls are as bad as so many people are saying, I'll likely pass on buying it.

Really? Wow...heard different...but hey i like spoiling her anywho:) I will help her as much as i can. She loves anything mickey so even turning the game, on will blow her mind:) I appreciate your input though..good to hear about the flaws to look out for..thanks

Let me know what you think when you get a chance to try it out. Myself, I'm looking forward to Kirby's Epic Yarn and DKCR on the Wii. And of course Black Ops on the PS3 :)

Finished up Assbro and I'm disappointed in the pretty ambiguous ending. Oh well, I'll probably play the 4th title in the story that will no doubt be released next year.

This is my understanding too Rob, and definitely something I saw when I watched it being played at PAX. Epic Mickey was originally supposed to be so dark and twisted that during the storyboarding/early dev phase, Disney Interactive considered rating it M, and then T before they eased back to a less dark game and an E rating.

Still, I haven't had enough time with it to actually figure out whether it's just another Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion (which was doable for kids,) or Mickey Mousecapade (which was doable for kids too, but a fairly difficult strategy game.)

So within the last 5 days between EB Daily Deals and these ridiculous sales Rogers Video is having (some of their games are upwards of 75% off brand new right now!,) I've locked down the following (all brand new) for $35

-Guitar Hero Van Halen
-Ghostbusters
-Brutal Legend
-Tekken 6
-Smackdown vs. Raw 2010

Playing SvR 2010 right now, which is pretty good. After playing ****ty **** on the 360 like Lucha Libre, TNA Impact, Smackdown vs. Raw 2007 and Legends of Wrestlemania, it's nice that the SvR series 2008-onward have been solid.

Also playing the first Bigs, which is good, but gives me so much more of a greater appreciation of the 2nd (which played on the same engine, but fixed everything that was wrong or ugly about the first one.)

I'll probably move on to Tekken 6's story mode or Ghostbusters next.

Is EB daily deals on right now? I'll have to swing by tomorrow. All of the Rogers Video around here went out of business except one, and they stopped sellng new games a couple of weeks ago unfortunately :(

Apparently they are. I didn't even know they were till a buddy of mine told me about it the other day.

The Rogers Video deals are out of this world...up to 75% some new games is nuts. I don't play Wii, but they had Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid Other M for $30 each (50% off but still) which you'll probably never find for cheaper since Nintendo brand games for whatever reason never dip in price.

Assbro is done. I'll go back and pick at the various missions and collections, but it's done. Up next: completing the sweep of the Greek pantheon with EPIC amounts of deicide.
