Some new mail - always seems I get some cool stuff in right before or during the Expo - one of these days I'll be able to make it, but for now, I'm consigned to the forums and eBay. So, I make my own Expo!
A triple:
I'll start with a $10 eBay pickup - a little bit of an odd card, and not sure if there's more of a connection besides all being D-Men, but for #1/24, the colors and the price, I'll take it:
An Ice:
And now, an upgrade - had a white swatch, but blue is better. Then sold the white one for more than I picked up the blue one! Hadn't seen one of these for over a year after I passed on one Giuseffi was selling, but two showed up on eBay within a month of each other...weird.
Two Sig Patches:
Upgrades again! Since there's not much I need left for the Lundy RC PC, I have to upgrade while I wait. Had a 2 color, and picked up these 2 beauties. 6 colors each! Yes, 6 different colors!!!!! Not sure if either is available, but might entertain offers. My old 2-clr is on eBay right now...
A Loch Ness Monster/Bigfoot:
Like the above-mentioned creatures, this next card doesn't exist. It's a 09-10 Cup Dual Enshrinements Brian Leetch/Michael Del Zotto card. Both this card and a Cup Dual Signature Patches with Leetch and Zotto were on the Cup Checklist. Leetch had stuff signed in the set, and so did Zotto. Yet, it's been over a year since 09-10 Cup came out, and NOT ONE of these cards has shown up. No redemptions, no live cards. Nothing on any forum, box break, or eBay. And each one is supposed to be serial numbered /35. I really wanted this card because I like Del Zotto, and Leetch is amazing. The pairing was really cool (even though I normally don't like multi-player cards). I've even asked the Upper Deck Redemption Manager about it and no one can give me an answer. It's even on Beckett.com.....
So, I went about making the card myself. I caved in and bought one of the "laser-cut" cards from eBay (from the guys who cut up the uncut sheets). It's not serial numbered, but as far as I know, it's a 1/1 now... I was able to get Leetch's auto on the card at a Steiner signing, but still have to get Del Zotto's. If ANYONE has any info on this card, or has an idea how to get Del Zotto's signature, please let me know.

Oh, and to cap it all off, a simple 1/1. My first like it! Was lucky enough to get this on eBay for less than what I originally offered the guy who pulled it on Beckett....

Let me know if you have ideas on how to get Zotto besides TTM (too risky for this "1/1" I think)
