I've never really built anything like this but had some resources available to me for a couple days so I decided to make something to display cards on the wall.

I was not at home so I didn't have exact dimensions of one-touches or top loaders so I took my best shot at it. Also, I didn't really have any plans other than something I drew up on a paper plate after I ate lunch that day.

Threw in a few random cards that were nearby when I realized the picture didn't look right empty, still not sure what exactly I'm going to put in it...

The top part of the trim slides off in order to slide the plexiglass out and insert cards. Now I just have to decide whether I want to stain it or paint it...

that looks awesome. I've drawn up some plans to make something like that to hold some of the stuff I have. I really like the job you did.

nice job, looks pretty good! looks like you used oak, why would you even consider painting it??

how long until you figure out that you wished you had made a bigger one, LOL!!

Yea that's the only reason I haven't done it yet is because it is oak, just doesn't seem right does it.. But if I stain it, it won't really "match" anything else I have on the wall where I planned to put it (all the other frames are black)

After typing that first part, you just solved my dilemma. I'll stain it and put it somewhere else where I would be able to see it and enjoy it more often. I better start sanding..
