Ever get a suspicious feeling about some of the bids on an auction?

Check the winning bidder's history with this seller.

The seller re-listed the card, and guess who won the second auction...

This is the worst I've ever seen, 100% of over 1000 bids with the same seller. I don't know how eBay could not take action on this one.

I don't know how eBay could not take action on this one.

Too few employees, no real incentive for them. I read a story on Facebook's team that determines offensive content. They are alloted mere seconds to make a decision before they have to move on to the next complaint.

That's a good flag, and the seller's name is easy to remember. S/he will be avoided in the future.

Just a complete joke, but why would eBay do anything about it, they are still getting their final sale value cut each time. Likely costing this seller more in the long run unless they are "2nd chance offering" a lot of cards.

There are a couple of sellers who I buy from quite a bit but my % with them is still very low.

lillybilly... whatever their name is is a notorious shill bidder. A lot of his/her auctions get re-listed right away. I bid on a dozen of their cards recently and got outbid on ALL of them. I figure I'd win at least one or 2, but nope... guess my price wasn't high enough on any of them, and I thought mine were within the scope of what those cards had sold for recently

In one auction for a $200 card, I got overbid four times and got bid retracted on four times to make me the top bidder again...

I just saw this thread, and the funny thing about it is I reported them a few hours ago, because I was sick of seeing craigs234(23) bump up the high bids on all his auctions. All we can hope for is they'll do something about it. I doubt it, but I did my part. Wouldn't hurt for a few more complaints to be filed against this POS. They can't ignore them all?

good catch...shill bidders piss me off- actually caught someone on C&C doing it on his Ebay auctions (trying to sell them on C&C and ebay at the same time) and called him out. If he didn't like the way bidding was going or got a better offer on C&C his alter ego would always win the auction. He is gone now...it was awhile ago and can't remember the handle. Anyways- that was a nice L. Schenn and something I would have bidded on had I seen it.

This POS is doing this on every one of his auctions. I reported him yesterday, but obviously one complaint won't make a difference to ebay, as long as they get their end. If shill bidders piss you off, file a complaint against this idiot. Turning a blind eye, and letting him get away with it is just as wrong. One complaint won't do anything, but 30 might?

Look at craigs234's feedback

July 20, 2013 is when he/she decided to start shill bidding the auctions.

I know, I saw that yesterday. It makes me furious that they can still be selling on ebay. It's typical now-a-days that people don't like what this POS is doing, but they're too busy to take a minute, or two to do something about it. It's easier to turn your head, and move onto something else. Just like people who witness crimes every day, and walk the other way, because they don't want to get involved. :duh:

I always report shill bidders, but like has already been mentioned, what is eBay's motivation to ban them?

They're making money on these sellers, I see no reason why they'll do anything about them.

One complaint probably not, but 20, then maybe they will. If people report them, then at least we did what we could about it. There's a lot better chance ebay will do something if there are complaints on the seller. They won't do anything if there is no complaints. We should also burn up his inbox with questions on how long he plans to shill bid all his auctions, just so he knows everyone is onto him. I this this not considered some type of fraud? All the people he's scammed extra money out of, there has to be some criminal charge he could be hit with by the local authorities?
