2 boxes of Parkhurst Champions - 2 different occasions

About 3 weeks ago I decided to buy yet another box of 11-12 Parkhurst Champions and this was the result ..........

It's always great when you pull anything Orr and the Vachon is a Group A auto.

So today I headed over to the same LCS looking for particular supplies and as it turned out they didn't carry the item. I looked around the store, looked at some old singles, game used binders. Finally grabbed some supplies and headed to the counter. Of course on the way there I passed their last 2 boxes of Champions. I figured eh what the hell, why not.

Thanks for the kind words guys and agreed Frendo. Easily my favorite product. It's right up there with my all-time favorite hockey card product. I've cracked over 20 boxes now LOL.

I went in and bought the last box yesterday. Not bad tbh, I pulled the Hextall and I need it for my set so it paid for the box. The other was an O'Ree mini auto, my 2nd one. Though the redemptions are now expired I might consider another 16 box case soon. It seems to the easier than finding them on EBay lately lol.

Question about this product ... i am more of a retired player collector and have considered buying a case of this stuff ... i know it is a hobby first etc , but wondering the return value , with only two auto's a box , wondering how many boxes would contain 2 5 to 10 sale value cards , price i seen on-line was 1300 ish taxes in dlvd /16 boxes =81.25 per box , so if majority of boxes only have 2 low end auto's , going to be a fair hit on value

No worries. I've had some pretty good luck lately but have had my span of garbage boxes too. That's what happens when you buy close to all of them from the same store. Essentially the same case or two.

My very first two boxes had a wire auto in each box. The next bunch had some decent cards but not of which were cards I needed (not from the regular set) I've pulled a red ink mini, 2 colour rendition autos, 2 wire autos, a few SP autos and the Sawchuk masterpieces recently.

Personally if you were to buy a sealed case of 16 boxes you might do well. I can't give you a sealed case expertise. My 20+ boxes were cracked over the course of 7 months. If you decide to crack a case good luck

Oh and btw most retailers are selling these for $69.95 a box so $81 per box is not a good deal imo.
