Set Show Off - 2004-05 Pacific Game Jerseys

Hey folks,

Have worked on this set for 5+ years and finally finished it with my recent pickup of the Ryan Smyth. As you may notice, none of the swatches are white. I remember opening a box of this way back when over on the Beckett forums and mocking the Kovalev with the Pens swatch, Habs logo and shown in the Rangers jersey.

I seem to be drawn to sets with big logos on them. This 45 card set featured 44 game jerseys numbered to 850 (or less), and a 45th card (out of 100) featuring 2 swatches and an autograph of the 3 players who tied for the Rocket Richard trophy in 2003-04.

Congrats on the set completion!! The Iginla/Nash/Kovy is a beauty.

I'm big fan of Pacific jersey cards. I have a complete set from Exclusive 02-03 and from regular Pacific 03-04. I'm slowly upgrading them to non-white/multicolor.

Pacific was always my favourite for jerseys since they did so well on cataloging jerseys on the backs.

Congrats on completing your set. Back in 2005 when I heard this was to be the last set made by Pacific I too joined the chase. I now have all silver & gold versions of the jerseys as well as all of the subset. silver base and I'm stil working on my short list of the red and blue version of the base.
It's been a fun long ride with Pacific.

All cards signed by Nash - guess they didn't have gamers of him to use, so they went with his auto.
