i think these are fair replacements. of course if tinordi does ever return his cards ill have to acquire them all over again. but panini might run out of hockey stock to replace their redemption so decided to take a chance

I figure that's a pretty solid exchange.

I like Tinner but it's getting pretty close to the make-or-break point for him in his development. Beaulieu leap-frogged him last year and I daresay that Pateryn has too.

So you came away with two hard-signed Subban RC's, a couple nice Gallaghers, and autos of Beliveau, Cournoyer, Gainey, plus a sweet Gionta. All told, that's a positive...and it's always nice to get cards that exist as opposed to ones that may never exist.

I would never argue with a Beliveau auto. Congrats on the replacements. I asked for mine last week, hopefully they are as good as yours.

Totally agree with this post 100%.

3 HOF autos and a few of a couple of very popular Habs for low numbered cards of a prospect that is getting lost in the wash of players within the organization. I know he's your guy and that's who you collect, but that's a really solid exchange for sure.

Tinordi's type of play takes time to develop. He'll be a regular in the lineup soon. Plus he suffered a setback with his injury.

Define "soon" and at whose expense?

Barring injuries/trades I don't see him in the lineup this season, certainly not as a regular. Next year, with Gilbert possibly gone, sure it's possible.

He's 23 now and coming into the final year of his entry-level deal so the Habs are going to have to decide whether or not his services will be retained. If they are, he's going to be on a very cheap contract since he has no bargaining power.

I like the kid, don't get me wrong, and for his sake I hope he has an amazing camp and forces Bergevin's hand to make a deal to fit him in the lineup. But I dunno if that's how it will play out.

if he has a strong camp in think bergevin will try to deal away emelin.

like others said im happy with the replacements, its way better than getting no cards at all, and tinordi does return his cards i can always buy them back or trade them
