So, not meaning to get too much at my LCS today, penny sleeves and larger penny sleeves for jersey/patch cards, I ended up buying some 2022-23 SPGU.
First 2 packs were pretty good, common thread: Gibson autos. I pulled the Purity bookend red auto 49/49 of his and the following pack had his blue base auto. The 2nd pack also had a Pontus Holmberg Rookie base patch /25. So that was good.
Second 2 packs were a bit better. (Yes, this is how I bought the packs.) One pack was good, Tanner Jeannot Signing Day Marks “T” numbered 35/35. (Bookend almost felt like a theme.) The other pack was a bit better…
…Renovations Auto/Patch 01/10 (bookend) of McDavid!!!
This is my first McDavid auto since 2018-19. This brings my McDavid autos pack-pulled to 5 (this, 15-16 Contours jersey auto, 15-16 Fleer Showcase ARP (sold), 16-17 SPx sock auto ( /10), 18-19 Ultimate Masterpieces Signature).
For now, nothing for trade or sale.
(New year’s resolution was to stop buying and start selling…mmmm, soon.)
