Buy/Sell forum guidelines - bumps and posts. Please read.

Ok, the influx of new members and some habits of existing ones necessitates a change on this part of the board. In order to allow all threads fair play, please try to adhere to the following guidelines:

- One current/active trade or buy/sell thread per member is permitted.

- DONORS: One bump by the original poster per 24 hour period. This includes all manner of reply to the original thread by the original poster.

- NON-DONORS: One bump by the original poster per 72 hour period. This includes all manner of reply to the original thread by the original poster.

- Only require one thread in either the Trading or Buy/Sell forums, but not both attempting to move or reel in the same items.

- For Sales / Trade Threads with nothing listed. Do NOT start a thread for sale or trade and say "check my bucket" or "everything in my bucket is for sale". If you can't take the time to list or show what you have available, it will be deleted and warnings / suspensions provided.

- See this thread for the Sell/Trade Thread Picture Requirements Policy.

- Grab bags / Mystery Bag type sale threads aren't allowed on HI. In future these types of sale threads will be deleted and warnings / suspensions provided.

- "Have $xx, best offer of cards wins!". These types of threads are auction style, tiring and annoying. If you have money to spend, just make your thread to say "Have paypal, need John Doe cards".

When abuse of these rules occurs, the offending threads will be either merged or deleted at the discretion of the moderator.

Just a reminder folks. Try and consolidate your sale threads as much as possible to reduce clutter on the page.

And another reminder for the masses...

just a quick question, if there are questions asked on your thread, can the be answered and does that count as a bump?

Shouldn't sales threads also have to include a scan of the card for sale?

That's tough for people who have a huge list in the post. Plus there are still a lot of people on here who still don't own a scanner or camera.

One other reason for not needing scans of every card for sale is do we really need/want scans of common YG/GJ etc?

Wow, there are a couple of members(1 in particular) with about a half dozen current sale/trade threads. Its getting a bit outta control.

There has been an addition to this list, in regards to Grab / Mystery Bag type sales threads!

Quick question for ya.I get the whole auction style if you have xxx$$ ,ok np there.But isn't it the same thing if someone posts cards and asks for offers and the highest offer pm gets it?
Just curious as both are the same thing just reversed and it's just like ebay bidding.

That is what the PM function is for. You can respond to comments in your thread via a PM, which is actually simpler for everyone.

My topic just has been deleted for no specific reason on top...
I don't have $$$ to spend of specific player, but others yes... I don't think, you want to see a title like : $$$ for crosby,kane,toews,hiller,huet,malkin,staal,brodeur,.......

hey guys - with the changes made, I recall reading about a bumping rule change as well or am I mistaken?
