Turco Mail Part 2 (56k stay far away)

Alright part 2 of my pickups from the last 8 months, bored at work so figured I would post them. This one is made up of all of my 07-08 cards. Up until 8 months ago I probably only had around 20-30 cards from 07-08. I would have a bit more from this year but I seem to have awful luck with a bunch of Ebay sellers not sending the cards I buy….. Anywys, I am debating whether I keep showing just the recent pickups or just show off my whole collection...

Start off once again with UD 1 and 2... Got everything from the lucky shot to the HG. Wouldn't mind picking up a plate some time though.

SPA.. The Rookie Review is from Q at the expo. Still missing the triple SOTT.


Some BAP and Ice. Missing the two Frozen Foursomes and BAP Players Club /25


Really liked the Black Diamond jersey's this year. I have the triple jersey incoming but still need the quad jersey. I am also missing the Gemography and Gold base card /10


A lot more Turco's in the 07-08 set compared to the 08-09 set. If anyone is interested I have extras of the Ultimate auto and the Premium Patch. I am missing the Ultimate Achievements autograph /3… I don’t think I will ever own that card. I know where all three copies are sitting though.


One of my favorite sets, Sweet Shot. Too bad it looks like his Stick Auto /25 and Endorsed Equipment don't look to exist. Wouldn't be shocked if those are used as Redemption replacements.


Victory and OPC... Missing a card from each set. OPC the Micromotion black and the Victory black parallel.


Really liked the look of the base set and 2 parallels from SPx. I had the SPx Winning Materials patch bought and paid for on Ebay but of course never showed up and seller doesn't answer emails wned:... I also passed on the Winning Combos dual auto patch :|...

Fleer Ultra… Missing the Platnium Medallion parallel /100 and oversized cards which I have yet to even see.


Hot Prospects… Have the Red Hot Hot Materials incoming… But been waiting a while so we will see if that’s another one not showing up.


Really like the glass autographs again some of my favourite cards. The Nickname card is sweet too. I am only missing the patch/auto from Trilogy. I am also missing the Mcdonalds Auto and Jersey… Never going to land those..

A couple cards I really like… Still need the patch version of both and another quad jersey with Kipper instead of Giguere I believe. Would love to get that one.


And the one star….







I had been wanting this card since the set came out but never had the funds when I had seen all three copies come and go. I was able to get this card the week before the expo for a very fair price. It’s probably one of my favourite cards.

Anyways that’s it for part 2, not too sure if Iwill just show off the rest of my mail or just show off my collection of each year to continue on… Please let me know what you think. Of course please comment, I appreciate any comments. Also if you have anything I need… Please let me know

Hey, I didn't see 06/07 Remarkable Matted Materials /15 Luongo and Turco on your want list? If you have them, would you mind putting the words "Beehive Remarkable Matted Materials" in the title at the end of the photobucket picture. I love to see what numbers you have. It's my favorite card obviously.

I do keep them all in toploaders. I have around 7 shoeboxes but all are full now. That and 9 shoeboxes for the Luongo's makes for a very space consuming collection.

OK, You've touched my Beehive heart. I have to trade you this card.

Would you be willing to trade one of your nicer traders for this? I saw some that looked cool: goalie graphs with irving, some multicolor Iggy patch or something? I know the BV's seem off, but I think Beckett didn't read the actual print run data on some of these. What do you think?

Oh Yeah, I noticed an error in your Luongo want-list:
Beehive 5x7 Black/White 4 ---> Should say Beehive 5x7 Variation Dark Wood
Beckett had a database error at one point where they showed 5x7 Black and Whites for all 5x7 Variation cards. I pointed this out a few times until they fixed it. Here is what it looks like:


Beehive Blue 4 - I'd trade you this one too with the the Turco MM if you'd like.

Thanks for all the comments. That All Star Royalty is one of the top 5 in my collection. I would really like to get the two Ultimate Achievement cards Marty has that are both /3. But those are not too likely to be let go by anyone that owns them anytime soon.

I have to agree with you on Beckett being way off on those. I actually picked one of those up today on ebay for what I would consider a huge steal. Thanks a lot though.

I actually have that 5x7 Dark Wood. I always though there was yet another parallel/variation. Good to know I can take that off my wantlist. I do still need a Beehive blue though... I believe

Congrats on finally getting the Turco MM. As for the Luongo, I can hold it for a while as it's among incomplete sets. It's not really worth the S&H for a trade on it's own. If you don't see one on ebay over the next few weeks/months, just let me know and we can work something out. Thanks for scanning the Remarkables. Jim
