With training camp around the corner and the new season coming up soon, I am hoping Scheifele has a great year and that the development strategy that Jets management took with him, pays off. I think it will. 45 Points is my target for him this season

We are getting deep in the pool. 20 guys picking so we are already 164 picks in. Still six and a half rounds to go.

Today, my Scheifele PC is made up of 97 cards and these are my favorite nine. Sit back and enjoy the show. :corn:

#9
This card was tough to nail down but I eventually pried it off a trader night vet we call "The Baron" here in Calgary. I had watched a few other copies go by but this one had such clear washing instructions I knew I wouldn't screw up my laundry again.

#8
I'm a big fan of maple leaf swatches from the shoulder patch. And I like cards from inaugural sets so this makes it in.

#7
I mean come on....just look at the patch on the top left

#6
After seeing around 30 of these, I am glad I picked this up when I did because only one other has even come close.

#5

Of the three Limited Logos in my PC, this one is the coolest.

#4
This card was pulled by my buddy John at Maple Leaf here in Calgary and he traded it to me. I am very happy with it.

#3

This card is just so cool. Came from eBay. It was a BIN at a reasonable price so I grabbed it before any of the other Scheifele collectors did. At #3, I'm glad I did that. :goal:

#2

Of all the Cup rookies I've seen so far, this is in the top 2 or 3. Based on what these were selling for when they came out I was content with a much more conservative patch for my PC but then this card made its way to me as part of a business deal. Stoked to have this baby!

#1

And at #1, this card contains my favorite patch of all my Sheifele cards. This card came from eBay where it had what I thought was a very high BIN ($350). I was in Banff with my girlfriend and we were walking around taking in the fresh mountain air when during a routine eBay search, I saw it. My eyes widened and my girlfriend gave me that look that says, "you know those points you got today by taking me to Banff? Well, you just cashed them in". After a couple hours of weighing the emotions of how it would feel if someone else suddenly hit the BIN, against the emotions of putting $350 into this card, along with my girlfriend telling me to buy it (so I would stop looking at my phone), I decided to do away with good judgement, I rationalized that you only live once, and I hit that damn BIN. And hit it hard I did! :whatthehell:

No regrets! :dance::dance::dance:

Thanks for looking! And for the record, she did end up dumping me. But boy do I love this card!

Great show man. I'm a little confused about the story on the last card though.... the version I heard was you traded your gf for that card.

Holy jumpin' as Panger would say! I need a rake to clean up that mess.;)

Jeremy, that was absolutely awesome to see. Almost make me want to buy a Jets jersey. Almost.

Really hoping he's more aggressive in his play and lives up to his hype. If he needs some more seasoning, we'll take em in St John's for a bit.

Jeremy, Great cardboard and even a better story on the 1st star. Sometimes you just got to have it and done that with a few cards (Thank Dr Price for the 04-05 ITG Franchises Completes and Linemates)

As for the lady, all in the rear view hey, the perfect women awaits

you better buy your girlfriend a nice gift, lol beauty cards man, love those jets patches

I like them all but #2 is my favorite.
Her loss in the long run.
I will arm wrestle you for it if a gold rainbow with patch like #2 ever surfaces :)

I love the patches, Jeremy!! I will tell you that if you didn't hit the BIN on #1 I would have in a heartbeat, and every night I go to sleep knowing that I missed out on it! That being said, I'm glad it's safe in the hands of a Scheifele collector!

I pulled a similar Carl Klinberg patch as your Scheifele, I kinda regret that I sold that card...even if I got a quite $$$ in return for that card for a "nobody".

That patch is ineed amazing in person!
I also like the #6 card.
