Hey all, just posting this because I have undertaken a project to put together a list of card stores. I went through the original rolodex post in the forum and added all the stores to a Google sheets spreadsheet, and then googled each one and got more info, and then emailed them all as well. I am waiting on responses from lots of them, and i was just wondering if i could get some help too on any stores that can be added or removed.
I hope to keep this somewhat up to date as well. Here is the link, I hope it works.

I have also added a link to a google form that stores can fill out.

when the stores fill out the form, it automatically adds it to the database, making it much easier for upkeep.

AJ's doesn't have a brick-and-mortar location anymore. Sanford St was replaced by two later locations, both since closed. He is only online now. No web site, just eBay.

Scenic City Games Owen Sound ON (my brother in-law's store :) )
Lasting Memories Locker room Hanover On

I can get contact info on these if needed

I believe that D&A are at a single location in Buffalo. You can get the addy from the website.

There are a couple in the New Haven, CT area. I will get them to the list soon.

No no the other steve is from this area, too. He might have a few more locations.

I'm just going to say THANK YOU for this as I will undoubtedly use it to email these folks in my Giacomin hunt.

Nice work, thank you.

I will be honest that's what my initial idea was. I find that it's so much easier to work with than just a thread here. I actually have a spreadsheet of all the cards in my collection as well, and all the ones I'm missing too.

Unless there was a very recent development I was unaware of Miraj Trading is still on Carling in Ottawa.

Thank you for doing this - wonder if we have someone tech savvy enough to write a script to auto validate the website addresses every say 3 months or so? And/or if there's anything else that can be automated to reduce the ongoing burden of data validation.

I know Beckett used to have a list of dealers in the first 10 pages or so of the price guide but I don't know how current that is anymore; it might be an idea to add at least those as presumably they wouldn't be paying for advertising unless they were still in business.

Are you looking to expand this into the US beyond D&A?

IMHO, the key point here will be ensuring there's an easy way to validate the data and keep it up to date without a ton of manual administrative process. It may be an idea to add whether the dealer is a CDD and/or an AIR? Maybe not that relevant but just an idea.

I hope that's useful and thank you again for doing this!

What is CDD and AIR?
I don't mind doing some upkeep on this, and I realize there is no way to get all the stores on here. My initial reason for this was to cast a broad net on my wantlist, thus why I included email addresses. I realize that some people will use this list for that, and some will use it as a guide for when they go to a new city and are looking for a LCS.
I also have come to realize that certain places only carry wax, and not singles. Maybe that is what you meant by AIR and CDD?
The checkmarks are the people who have emailed back, or who I have been in contact with before.

As for American dealers, I don't have a problem adding more, seeing as most places are willing to ship internationally and there are also Americans on this site. Anyways thanks for the help, and let's keep this going, and not be a waste of a few hours of work...

Phil, Beyond the Pond is alive and well in London as you know, because you have been there. LOL
This is a great idea Phil, keep up the good work.
Thx Dan

Again, I really appreciate the effort -

AIRs - these are "Authorized Internet Retailers" - UD keeps a listing on their site and generally, these are the stores who are authorized to list products (generally on release) on their websites.

CDDs - these are "Certified Diamond Dealers" - i.e., brick & mortar stores that have obtained the requisite licensing / completed the requisite due diligence by UD to sell UD stuff directly to the public and more importantly have the ability to buy sealed wax both directly from UD as well as from UD's distributors (in the US, generally Southern Hobby & GTS).

In general, AIRs and CDDs are not allowed to sell across the US/Canadian border for at least 1 year after release and are not allowed to sell for resale until it's been at least 90 days after release (if I've got my dates right).

I mention those two categories as they are often indicative of the best places to find sealed wax in case that was of particular interest.

Let me know how I can help - I can't promise much other than adding a few dealers that I've dealt with in the US but again, this will be a massively helpful exercise.

Just thinking out loud, but if a store specialized in a particular area - e.g., singles, older sets, graded cards, sealed wax, sealed vintage wax, that's all really helpful info if people are on the hunt for something in particular.

I am continuing to make changes, and would love to get as much info as I can. If you can answer any of the questions let me know. I added options for wax singles and vintage as well as AIR and CDD.
