01-02 BAP Gordie Howe Autos - backdoor cards or what?

Been trying to track down a cool Howe auto and stumbled upon these cards:

and this one:

both have similar backs and are hand numbered out of 51 and 63 respectively.

Was about to hit a BIN but read the description of a couple listing where they mention that these cards weren't in the original release.

The card was never released in packs and just recently became available. The autograph (certified on the back of the card) is hard signed right on the card.

2001-02 BAP GORDIE HOWE 1951-52 PARKHURST REPRINT AUTOGRAPH 24/63 MR. HOCKEY

THIS CARD NEVER WENT INTO THE ORIGINAL PACK OUT FOR SERIES
THE CARD IS IN MINT CONDITION

These cards were unreleased by Be a Player and were only recently discovered and made available to select collectors by the former owner of the company.

So with that said I dont really care how it was released.... but are the auto's real and are they limited as per the counts on the back? Are they even worth anything?

Yes doctor price gave us on hi a chance to buy these. They are 100% real. I had one of each

No way! Hah, what are the odds. Thats awesome.

Is the rc reprint mini sized or full sized? Its tough to tell from ebay scans. And I assume a value of around $500 seems fair?

Wow, quite the jump in price! Lol

Considering all the copies on ebay are in the $500+ range.

Due to the method of release are they gradable by PSA or BGS? Would they slab them as a BAP card?
