Okay so I went to the Flea Market just now, and was looking through some cards, this guy had a tmac auto, and it said 60 on it, and that's the supposed beckett "BV" So I ask how much he wants for it, and he said, "60", and I just walked away laughing. I know the guys there want to make money but come on, btw that cards been there for 6 months! I just couldn't stop laughing. Anyways so I went to the next card stand, and what do I see a box of 03-04 Fleer Authentix, hobby at that. So I ask how much the guy wants for it, thinking prolly about 135, because the LeBron and Wade rc's and he says 45!!!! And I say "U TAKE CHECKS" lol, and now to my live break, couldn't resist opening the first, and what do I PULL?

Box Topper was a oversized RC of T.J. Ford /400

LEBRON JAMES RC /1250!!!

Man I just wish AI had a auto in this set, cause I prolly would of pulled it too! Very happy even though the Melo is a redemption, this break will pay for itself, but I would of been super happy if it wasn't a redemption, that's what u call a HOT BOX!

What happens to stuff like that which is a redemption but not redeemed? Does it ever surface on the market or do people at the factory just take the stuff home once the promotion passes? just kind of wondered since I normally don't break boxes I just buy what I need for graphing...Eric Draven nice box break and well worth the 45.00 bucks invested, some real nice pulls. jason

The stupid person that bought Fleer and is in charge of the redemption programs is selling all the high value stuff on ebay, and giving the ****ty stuff out away as your replacements for the redemptions u sent it, but now it's too late. I can prolly put that on ebay though and make a few bucks, maybe a Melo Collector wants it just to have it, I dunno?

Yeah you know what you are totally right...I have heard some rumblings of sending in top notch redemption cards like that then getting back 2nd round draft pick guys either already out of the league or playing in some other country. As for melo you should be able to get a few bucks regardless I bet your right on finding a melo collector for that card. As far as selling those hi end one's that stuff just burns me up...at any rate without beating this one up...still a great box break...jason

Yeah it was good, but would of been sooo much greater if the Melo wasn't a darn redemption, but overall I can't complain.

WOW I just went through all the base, and noticed I just got the whole exact base set as well, only 3 extra's! Well still need the rc's, so I might do that to get the base/rc set. Maybe the Ticket Studs Insert, and the Courstise Classics inserts as well.

Yeah because even if I did, I won't get the melo, they will send me two crappy gu's and a auto, if that, I think it's too late to even send in new redemptions that was just pulled actually, but if Fleer wouldn't of been bought out and stuff, I could still send it in, cause there's no expiration date on the redemption.
