05/06 The Cup EMPTY cases/boxes/tins

Hello crew!

Just curious as to whether or not there has been any market for empty cases/boxes/tins from the inaugural year. I've seen some sales on later Cup years (as well as some crazy sales on similar basketball issues) but nothing on 05/06.

I have (3) busted cases worth. Thought about just displaying them somehow in my new garage/man cave, lol.

I hope not I saved all mine from 05-06 until 2010-11 and it just became too much clutter so I gave them all away. I did save two packs.I kept a Le Bran James rookie year Exquisite pack(box). It is beautiful. Solid wood with hinges on the cover.I also saved a 2006 Topps Paradigm football box(pack). This is the most beautiful pack I have ever seen. I am waiting for a beautiful card to display in it.

Hello Winston...good to hear from you, old friend! I havent seen the Paradigms, but I do recall the 03/04 Exquisite back in the day...very sharp boxes!

Yes, I think there is a market for them. Especially from 05-06. Makes for a neat display piece.

I have discarding the tins that I have, including UD1, UD2, ...... , but retaining the lids so that day, I will frame, shadow box style, the one box full that I have!
The 05/06 The Cup is one that I do not have since I spent the loot on 05/06 Ultimate Collection.
