Good to see others are getting good results with Artifacts this year unlike last year. At the time (which was earlier today) I had to really think about buying a box. I had a store credit coming to me, so I got it a little less than retail, but still spent more than my budget.
As some already know, the box promises 1 Auto and 3 GUs. After I completed opening it (I always open at the shop) it was the best box of the case so far opened. I've never got to open a box that was good enough to warrant a "3 stars" type post, but this one was. I decided to make a thread of just this box and not just roll it into my normal thread. I did get 1 Coyotes s/n which will not appear in this post, but in my normal updates. Anything on this post is available except the redemption.
I'm going to start with the first grouping of cards, your average /999s.
Next up is the above average ones. First is the promised auto, then a Wild Card redemption, and a /50 Carbonneau.

Star #3: 4 colors. It may look in the scan like its white and white, but no, its white and gray, and red and white. This is /199
Next we have Star #2. This is only the second patch I ever got in a pack. The last one was from Private Stock 2001. You might recognize this guy, its a /35.
And lastly we have Star#1. This is a dual patch. Top is plain, but bottom is.... just wow to me. This is also /35.
So Artifacts looks a lot better this year! In case anyone is wondering, I always let the dealer pick the box.
