Verified Trader,
Hi all, I was at Beyond The Pond in London today and I swung a deal with RJ for a box of Topps UFC Knockout. It's a great looking product and it was a blast to open. Everything below is available, with two exceptions. Let's get to the results:
Parallels /288
Ricardo Almeida
Mike Russow
Gerald Harris
Scott Jorgensen
Demian Maia
Apparently parallels are supposed to be 1 per pack, but I ended up with 11 from 8 packs. Here are 5 of the 6 /288 I got, with the sixth being:
Chris Hordecki of London, Ontario! Always nice to pull a hometown boy. I'll be keeping this one.
Parallels /188
Brock Lesnar
Brian Bowles
Ben Saunders
Efrain Escudero
Pulling a Lesnar is never a bad thing. The parallels get rarer though:
Kris McCray Emerald /88
UFC Debut card!
Seth Baczynski Red /8
I hope that there are two huge Baczynski fans out there who want to fight over this card. All right, those are the parallels. On to some Memorabilia cards
Chuck Liddell Fight Mat Relic /288
Chuck Liddell Fight Mat Relic /188
No ever complains about collation when they get a two cards of a star. If I'm going to get two Mat Relic cards, I certainly don't mind getting two Liddells. The mat is from UFC 76, which was actually a stacked card. Funny enough, Liddell lost a split decision to Keith Jardine that night. I guess they didn't have any mats from an Iceman win.
Evan Dunham Premium Pieces Worn Gear /99
Nice three colour piece (little bit of red in the bottom corner). Sharp looking card.
Mark Coleman Fighter Gear Relics /188
A UFC Hall of Famer who was once a feared fighter. Now, not so much. Nice card though. On to the autos.
Marc Stevens TUF Team Koshcheck Auto /200
Koshcheck's protege on the last Ultimate Fighter didn't have too good of a time as I recall. He did so well he's now fighting on the undercard this Saturday at the Strikeforce PPV.
Seth Petruzelli 1st Autograph /188
The first man to knockout Kimbo Slice. I really like the design of these cards. If they were hard signed, they'd be like Sign of the Times. As a nice touch, Seth added "Silverback" to his signature. Good stuff!
Marco Ruas 1st Autograph /188
Another 1st Autograph card, but this time it's a legend. He was the UFC 7 tournament champ and one of the first complete MMA fights. I had some fun learning about him, and I'm actually considering keeping this one. But now, let's look at the Autograph Relics.
Nate Diaz Fight Worn Gear Autograph /88
Although I hope he loses at the UFC PPV in Toronto, it's a nice looking card. But it pales in comparison to the other Auto Relic I pulled:
Georges St. Pierre Topps Triple Threads Auto 01/18
It's so rare that you can pull exactly who you wanted to pull. Obviously this made the box for me and it looks great in person. This one will be staying with me for a long time.
Overall, this was a fun break and I'd definitely do another box. Comments are appreciated and PM if you're interested in something. Thanks for looking!
