New Member, Must Send First
As noted in my other mail posts today, I went to Bases Loaded today. I bought a box of SPA. There were two left in the case, and Jeff asked me which serial number I wanted. There was an 014 and a 136 (or something) so I chose the 014.
So I went about my business and opening up the pack there, like always. I guess there were three decoy packs in each box, and I had 2 decoys already. And all these guys:
The Hossa actually came later. I traded all my base cards in for another pack of SPA and an Upper Deck series 2. The SPA pack had the Hossa (NFT) and the UD had a Young Gun of some dude on the Panthers named Garrisson? Who?
Well I had already been through two packs with decoys. A dude at the shop asked how many, I told him, and he said to not worry, I've got another decoy yet to find. Oh boy. Well I found the last thick pack and opened it up and looked at the side. "No decoy here, got a real card this time." I said and moved the base card off the top to see what I got.
I didn't know what to do with it. I just put it on the counter in a motion like I got caught stealing something and backed away. Jeff came by and said "What did you get?" and I just pointed to it. He said WOW and paraded it around to everyone else there.
It is by far the best card I ever got in a box or a pack.
I know! You're screaming to your monitors saying "WELL WHAT IS IT ALREADY?!"
