I just received a 1951 Parkhurst card and I compared the sizing with another Parkie from the same set and the card was marginally smaller (approx 1mm) top to bottom.

Just wondering if it’s altered or if there were variations in sizing in this set? I was going to ship to PSA but don’t want to throw away $150 in grading and shipping

I just read this, and know next to nothing about grading.

I'd say though, there has to be some sort of allowance for minor variation in sizing. 1mm over the length of the entire card (2.5" = 63.5mm) doesn't sound like a lot. I don't know how they inspect the edges, but I would think under a 10x or better loupe, you should be able to tell if the edges were all cut with the same type of guillotine blade, or if one edge is far cleaner (with a recent exacto knife).

The idea of mixing them up by putting them in a cement mixer (as told in the link) is funny, and sad at the same time.
