Please guys, anyone who can help post here!

I have a friend at work who showed me his collection. He is interested in moving it and I told him I would get some back ground information for him so he wouldn't get ripped off.

Here is the condition of the cards.

They are in great shape, sharp corners, except they are in a scrap book. They are attached at the top of each card. Some have 1 pin hole in them, from a thumb tack I would say. I need some help on how to get them out of the scrap book without doing any damage to them. I took 1 out and it leaves a glue stain along the back of it. Front of card is in fantastic condition.

There are 2 different sets. 1 with a beige border and the other with the woodgrain border. I can list the names he has for people who are interested in the set. He does have some big names like, Howe, Horton,Worsly, Bower.

Once again, if anyone is interested in them or can help me get them out of the scrapbook without destroying them that would be great.

Steve, not an expert but I will give you a few words of advise. If the glue or holes are in the picture themselves than that is a major problem. Most of those Bee Hives had an outside backing that was bigger than the picture. That is not near as bad. Also when you price these things you will need a Charlton or Beckett on line or something to that effect. For example some palyer may have as many as 3-4 varations. All may be valued different.eg.George Armstrong has 3.one is only $10.00 but there is one that is $300.00.Bobby Hull has 5 and runs from a low of $22 to a high of $850.00.So make sure you have something to go by.I know that this is not much help but I wanted to make sure that you knew a few of these things.

Thanks,Winston.

PS;If you have a list of who you have and you do not have a Charleton and would like a bit of help than by all means PLMK
