Hello there,
I made a post in the show and tell that I just recieved my
13th Gretzky rookie. It does have two "minor" and very strange flaws.
Of course I knew this when I picked it up, very cheap and it looks real good!
Some questions occured in the show and tell and I thought I might ask them here.
Does anyone know if this was done before the card left the factory? Or has it been done to the card later on? Were they marked because they had flaws, alot of printing dots? Were the holes cut because of colour testing?
They are not lined up to have been used for a binder and the number 18 is excactly cut out. As well as the guys arm on the back of the card.
The other rookie below, was it marked for being hugely off centered?
Were these cards never meant to have left the factory, or is this something done by a bored younster in the 1980s?
Any info uppruciated!
This card has the number "3363" printed on the front and written on the back with a blue ballpoint pen. It is way off centered.
Any info uppruciated!
Thanks guys!
