Hey guys,

Over time, I've acquired some weird stuff, and now that I'm looking to cut down significantly (why do I need stuff I won't ever use / keep around?) there's one thing I've got that I don't know the rarity of and such and was wondering if anybody could help

I have an entire set of the Vancouver Canucks 1986-87 Kraft set in poster form. I don't know how these were issued, and how rare they were, but I've had the set sitting in the packing it was shipped in since I purchased it approximately 5 years ago. Don't ask me what I paid for it, because I don't remember. :)

(For curious Vancouver fans, the players in the set are Richard Brodeur, Doug Halward, Doug Lidster, Barry Pederson, Brent Peterson, Petri Skriko, Stan Syml (who appears to have no relation to, but looks strikingly similar to Stan Smyl,) Patrik Sundstrom, Tony Tanti and Glen Cochrane.)

I want to move this whole thing as a team set, because I don't see what the purpose would be of breaking it up (and potentially getting stuck with 7 or 8 of them.)

Anybody have any more information about these?

They were prints offered in conjunction with the main set. They were mail-ins, just like the factory cards for this set. I cannot remember if you could order the prints individually or by team. But it was for each of the seven Canadian teams at the time. I know I had a few Oilers prints a long time ago. Somewhere out there are a bunch of Habs sets with Roy...

Interesting Art...I knew I could count on you (I had actually figured you'd be one of the ones to reply to this thread.) I guess my question is how rare are these? I'm thinking about moving the set as a whole and was wondering what a fair price would be for the entire thing since I don't want to rip someone off or shortchange myself. The only one I'd probably move on its own is the Richard Brodeur at a cost of $7000

Matt,

When I had my prints - I think I paid $15-20 apiece for them in early 90s. I'm not sure exactly what the original offer was though

They are fairy rare.I have had several complete sets. There is one for every card in the set.
They list fairly high.If you are looking for a BV you can check the Charlton guide. For that year with Kraft there was more sets made than any other year.Even the ones on the boxes themselves came with different color ink and one is more rare than the other. Thanks,
Winston.

I remember having the Paul MacLean. They did a promo at Safeway here with him, with an autograph session. He was signing only for a short time so i didn't get the sig but i did get the poster. unfortunately, as a kid, i pinholed it to death after he was traded :(
