1996-97 Leaf Hockey Insertion Variations

Does anyone have a sell sheet or a break of 1996-97 Leaf inserts where it tells you which inserts are in which type of box? I just came upon half a case and am wondering what would be inside, particularly the Fire on Ice inserts.

On Numbern9ne’s started page’s, about 13 back from current. He was bored during COVID and ended up dropping a mess load of early sets from the 90’s.

Looks like the Fire on Ice may have been retail exclusive. There are plenty of other decent inserts, though, that can be found in that set.

Also, it may be a good idea to purchase a Beckett yearly for reference of cards in sets. My last one was from 2015 and doesn’t include anything from 2015, but I reference it for many older products. After 30+ years of collecting (‘90-present), some of the products are hard to decifer when they don’t have stats but have copyright dates to reference. Some cards are produced in one year, but belong to the following year’s set. Tricky when it comes to Pacific (only listing the year w/o hyphen splits) and UD inserts in the late 90’s & early 00’s. I am so happy that the manufacturers started to place the card year on the back starting in 05-06.

Fire on Ice that year was retail only, which is why they are brutal to pick up.
