$1Millon McDavid Card

You'd be a fool NOT to buy this card...

The description is worth it's weight in gold lol

"Given that the odds of seeing a second such card emerge is perhaps worse than the chance of winning the Powerball--which has a likelihood of 1 in 292,201,338--based on the rules of conditional probability, it seems a foregone conclusion that this card is the ultimate holy grail of the holy grail. In other words, this gem is one of the true must-have crown jewels for all serious high-end card collectors!

Even more unique is the fact that the BGS certification number for this card starts with the infamous jersey number (No. 99) of Wayne Gretzky--the generational player of the Edmonton Oilers immediately preceding McDavid--and simultaneously ends with the well-known jersey number (No. 87) of Sidney Crosby--the face of the NHL immediately preceding McDavid as it is 0009962087, therefore truly making it a very special card!"

This person is really just showing off their card......There are words to describe people like that but we keep everything G rated here on HI. They certainly got noticed, lol

Ridiculous pricing aside, I get the jersey #'d thing that people chase, but this is the first time I've ever seen someone try to pump the tires of a card based on a BGS serial # - and the #'s aren't even the player's #!? :cuckoo:

I was thinking of buying it, but then realized the BGS serial number actually starts with 000, not 99. No way am I buying it now - not when it actually starts with a John Davidson and a Neil Sheehy.
