2 boxes of the new Leaf

picked up two boxes of the new Leaf.basically i lived on the original '90s Leaf brand so i was curious to see what this product was all about.

overall i like the look of the product,was hoping to hit some of the older retro designed memorabilia but i was happy with the results,especially the Leetch which is going to the PC.

I get the whole no logo thing, but unless I'm going blind, where are Fedorov and Bure's names on that jersey card? You can see their faces, so it's not a case of the show the back of the jersey only (like a Gretzky would be).

The type in the bar at the top of the Leetch card looks like an afterthought.... lol.
If you’re happy, that’s all that matters. Stuff looks awful to me. Loved their Game Used at the last show though!

Absolutely. My bigger purchase at the Fall Expo was a box of 2015 Leaf and really enjoyed the break. I have aesthetic issues with every card in this post except for one. Combined with what I saw on display at the show, awful for me is not far off.
If Invictus had been 6 cards, I would have been alllll over that.

This Leaf product will no doubt appeal to its target audience.

Definitely like how the logo issue is solved on the Bure/Fedorov more so than on the Veleno and Hischier cards.

Gregg,was the intention to have the players names embossed through the foil in black like the originals?i was actually asked by the shop owner if it was an error when i pulled it,but have noticed that others in that subset didn't have the players names.

No intention at all! No idea what I was thinking when I approved the design! Sometimes tying something different doesn't work out as you hoped! That is the one design in the past few products I regret. Live and learn! lol:duh:
