Busted a couple boxes of Moment of Truth over the last couple days
Box 1: Christmas gift from my better half. She actually took the time and went down to our LCS and bought it for me. That's love right there...going deep into the belly of the beast and emerging with the prize
Box 2: Jon and I went to Wally's on a whim (Jon felt like busting a box of MOT since he hadn't done it before) and I was debating on whether to just buy a box of Benchwarmer Vault but decided to hit up MOT too, using a bit of Christmas $. Glad I did...sort of sad Jon did though. His box was-a not-a so good.
Anyway, here's the rippage
Golds and inserts: Too many to name
Box 1: Blank card. I've never seen this before, and it's too thin to be a real decoy. I don't know what it was supposed to be, but it was in the insert spot in the pack, so I can only assume...

Box 2 /88s - Little Nog, Alessio Sakara, BJ Penn Submission Specialists, Showdown Shots Michael Bisping/Jorge Rivera

4th Star from Box 2:
Ruby Base /8 of the recently retired KSOS. Bittersweet on this one. I don't collect him, but I was at the fight pictured here, and I like the dude. Might flip flop on this one before I cut it loose to a KSOS collector.
3rd star from Box 2:
Jose Aldo Base Auto ... Jon and I suspect this might be an SP because there are only 4 completed listings. In comparison, I think I bought 4 of the same auto last weekend of one of the Strikeforce guys.
2nd star from Box 1:
Jon Jones Elite Skills auto Redemption
Pulled this at 4 AM and had to double take when I saw the name. I suspect these are /25. I know Jones hasn't signed yet because Topps has been tweeting him recently asking him to stop in and sign his stickers, but it sounds like he could be doing so very soon.
1st star from Box 2....I'll call it 1st star even though I'm an auto guy....
Ben Henderson / Anthony Pettis Tale of the Tape 05/25 (WEC 53)
I think my exact words when I saw "Tale of the Tape" and Bendo's face were "WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA" and then I think there was an expletive or two when I showed it to Jon and Derek.

I should add that this was the end of Wally's case of MOT. Somebody buying the whole case would've made out like a bandit. I can only assume there was good stuff out of the 4 boxes I don't have track of, but Ernie (bluechip,) Jon and I account for 8 of the boxes in the case, which includes (off the top of my head) :
-Collision Course Okami/Silva, David Mitchell and KSOS Ruby Base
-Carlos Condit auto /8
-Aldo auto
-Jones Elite Skills Redemption
-Tale of the Tape Bendo/Pettis
-Forrest/Franklin dual auto
I had 2 pretty dog boxes before this though, and it took me 4 boxes to complete a base set, so it does all average out. In the end, this product is ridiculous loaded for a middle end product, and case prices are apparently dropping, so you might be able to pick it up for cheaper soon.
