I very rarely do non-hockey breaks, but being a huge music fan, and a big jazz fan, I was really excited by the new Famous Fabrics product. Didn't get one of the autos I am chasing, but I can't say I did too bad :
Both the Sinatra and the Presley came from the same pack, so I was happy already before I even saw the auto.
I don't know who that Phil Brown is, looks like a singer/guitar player from what I found on the interwebs...
I never heard the name Fanny Brice, but from the looks of it she seemed quite influencial throughout her life. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about her, and it made this autograph a lot more valuable to me. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fanny_Brice
I think I've heard of those "Fab Four" before... I'm very happy to pull one of those from 2 packs, when they're a Master Case hit. I'm now stuck in a dilemma... Sell it? Or keep the redemption and wish to be the winner of the quad auto? That would be unbelievable... But it's one chance out of 90... What do you guys think?
While at the card shop for the FF MMM, I decided to try my luck with a box of Pop Century as well :
Being a French Canadian, I must admit I don't know much about american culture, so knowing the name of 2 of those out of the 5 was very good for me. The music fan in me obviously knew Neil (singer of Motley Crue), and I couldn't not recognize George from Seinfeld. I guess that's an average box, but I'm happy with it.
Let me know what you guys think!
