20/21 SPA Inner -An Immortal disappointment from the 80's

Made a very questionable decision to open a second inner of 20/21 SPA. I still have one untouched master but I've promised myself to stash that one away.

There's not much to show here, I'm so depressed I didn't even cared to scan, an honest apology for the laziness and negativity. :badmood:

It started off pretty good, three out of the first boxes was triple auto boxes but then... two boxes in a row without an auto, then one box with a single auto. I'm pretty speechless to be honest :|

All in all.... I guess the hits are there, not that great names but the lack of autos 2,5 boxes in a row really leaves a sour taste.

Sorry for your break! I busted an inner case and five boxes from the second inner and while there were autos in every box there were no autographs of anybody you would want. The one autograph patch you should get in each case was from 2019 of Rudolfs Balcers. Not even from the year of the product. Another collector pulled that same auto patch and listed it on eBay and it didn't even get a single bid with a starting bid of $38.84.

A waste of money for sure, but I knew the gamble and this break was a huge loss!

I actually sent the Balcers patch back to the President of Upper Deck but haven't heard a single word from the company, not that I expected too.

Again, sorry for your poor break, it has to hurt.

That is a massive bummer. What a shame that they have ruined a staple product that was very popular amongst set and singles collectors.

OOF, that's a rough one, sorry. I've been tempted a couple times to try a box or two but after seeing the breaks, and now this one, I think I'll steer clear.

Those 80s autos, while they'd be fun out of a cheap product, or as a bonus, for those to be "hits" out of something this expensive is kind of...brutal.
