I was curious if anyone here had a copy of one of these emblems by chance?

I have the Markus Naslund and Todd Bertuzzi versions with a print run of 9 for the silver version.

I was just curious if ALL of the GOLD 1/1 emblems were hand numbered on the back? Im just a little confused as i purchased today what i believe to be the gold 1/1 version of the Naslund, but its not hand numbered on the back

Ive tried cross referencing with others i found online, and it only added to the confusion

-All 3 are numbered on the back
-Two of them have a solid gold shade to the entire card where as the Kovalchuk doesnt have gold in the white area on the left of the card.

Just curious what you guys think. Do you think the Naslund is the legitimate gold version? Its clearly different than the silver version.

Does anyone have a copy of a 1/1 GOLD not hand numbered?

Any insight or opinions appreciated!

The three I have (Lecavalier, Bertuzzi, Iginla) are all hand-numbered on the back. I don't have pics right now, but I'll try to get some.

Thanks for chiming in guys.

What do you think is up with this Naslund? Its clearly the Gold version but im not convinced now that its the pack pulled 1/1...

Im not sure what was going on with ITG back in the day, i have a huge collection of their cards, but cards that were supposed to be 1/1. One PRINTED. One in the world. A true 1/1. We find they had printed more of these copies and released them in Vault.

Or other cards that were printed /10 or /5 as well which were re-released with a vault foil print... it cheapens the true card.

Obviously this card isnt a Vault card, but there should have been only one 1/1 gold printed. So either they printed more than one and the other slipped out the back door or they never hand numbered it.

Unfortunately it may have been one of those "back-doored" cards that (I think) Dave and Adams, or one of those other huge dealers, got their hands on about 10+ years ago and sold a huge lot of them off. I think I have a few a cards from that, but the ones I picked up were never numbered to begin with so I'll most likely never know.

They printed additional copies of cards for various reasons; damage replacements, pick the best ones for pack-out, etc. Some of the ones I have are...less than mint, we'll put it. Really rough edges and such. But, I'm not generally one to complain about such things, if I like the card enough. Others aren't so forgiving ("How dare you sell me a card with this infinitesimally small defect when you, a self-proclaimed non-grader, said it was mint!!!11! I wanted this beyond gem mint so I could grade it myself and make an enormous profit!!11!11!!! I demand a refund and I'm keeping the card!111!!1!").. OK sorry about that. Got a little off topic
