2010-2011 victory black

i know some people that have collected around 10 of guys they collect from last year or 2 years ago... I think someone did the math and the victory update blacks are probably more around /20ish

Seriously, Upper Deck's going to be making Victory parallels twenty years from now, and people are still going to be asking if they're limited to 5 copies just because of the 05-06 set.

Quoted for truth. There will always be a thread about it whenever Victory comes out.

I'd say there is more than 20. My guess would be between 40 and 50.

I'm sure the math here for 09-10 and 10/11 has been done before but:

1 Rookie Breakout or Draft Class per hobby case. So 30*100+12*10 hobby cases all together.
2 Blacks per case (1 regular, 1 rookie), 100 different players means (2*3120)/100 blacks per player (= +62).

then add x number of copies from blasters, tins etc.

That of course only applies to the Update ones, blacks from the normal Victory are much rarer.

This isn't necessarily accurate either though as this year the Rookie Breakouts have averaged 2 per case in this area with some cases having 3.

That's probably closer to the truth. I was just going by the stated odds, but it seems that the acetates do average at 2 per case this year (I've seen 1-3 per case).

So, that would give +30 blacks from hobby cases + more from retail.

These haven't been /5 since 05-06. Regular victory has a lower print run and the updates have a higher print run per card. The real print run is closer to 30-40.

Tha max on Rookies I have counted so far is 13 of them, I think the regular ones may be out of 20-30, but the rookies were twice as hard to pull, so wouldn't they be shorter?

I have yet to see a Grant Clitsome Victory Black anywhere since Victory's first release at the beginning of the season.
