Looks very interesting. I hadn't actually heard about this until now. Can I ask where you ordered this from and the price? A Fedor auto would be pretty sweet.
i ordered it from blowout at $124, prices have gone down on both topps and razor. with the limited production run on the razor (599 cases for regular hobby and 99 cases of international), once they are gone, they are gone. topps probably had to lower their msrp to compete with razor (4 hits with a box of topps vs. 8 autos per box with razor)
Unfortunatley the prices on MMA have just gone way down. When it was just topps that's one thing but now UD Razor Topps not to mention the others like sportkings, ringside .....it's now flooded. I canceled my orders for the upcomming release of UFC I'm seeing HOF guys like Coulture, Shamrock, Severin, Gracie autos going for 10$ that's just horrible, sure I'll grab the singles at those prices but buying a box of any MMA is a waste of money for someone that isn't a set builder. Can't blame Dana White for selling the rights to so many companies $$$ is $$$$ and also promotes it more. But as far as collecting.....the market is flooded right now.
where do you see couture and gracie autos going for $10? please point me in that direction as i don't mind picking some of those up. unless, of course, you are thinking of the unlicensed stuff such as celebrity cuts and prominent cuts, at which i wouldn't even bat an eyelash. the topps ufc licensed stuff still do really well, especially anything from round 1 and round 2. main event auto'd relics of couture are hovering the $40-$60 mark. gracie autos have always been at a constant $60+ for round 2 and $50+ for main event auto'd relic.
shamrock - probably because a) those are the ugly prominent cuts auto cards that UD made and b) he just lost his most recent fight and should just call it a day. anything from ud prominent cuts has been selling pretty piss poor, except for the #/50 variants and the GSP autos.
you are absolutely right in that the market is flooded right now with product but a lot of it is not ufc licensed such as prominent cuts, celebrity cuts and sportskings. however, people will always choose the topps licensed stuff over those. (i'm sorry doc price, a lot of mma collectors aren't really fond of the design of sportskings - i did pick up the 3 GSP autos though

) people don't care for cards of brock lesnar from wwe or from his collegiate wrestling days, they want his ufc stuff. they also don't care for a slabbed cut auto with a print run of over #/20. razor mma is a different animal because of its limited availability and the introduction of new fighters - many of whom have not signed before. it'll be interesting to see how these cards do on the secondary market. a lot of people on specialty mma sportscards forums are really excited about this product. even shane carwin is excited about signing for this product!
I'm pretty stoked about the razor MMA , i can't wait to get my hands on a Gina Carano auto
...or you can just pick up her first auto from donruss americana
