Registered Trader,
I wanted to see what this new e-pack trend was all about and bought a box. This is the first modern day box I've bought in years and in hindsight its obviously much cheaper to purchase the box and get it shipped to you. That also involves waiting and unfortunately I'm in a dead zone when it comes to card shops.
For those of you who haven't purchased one or dealt with COMC this is how it worked. Envelope arrived today with all of the "hits", the base just stay with your account unless you trade them to someone else. I elected to get everything mailed to me for the purposes of this post.
The package:
The cards, neatly packaged:
Two outer cards in top loaders, penny sleeves. While the rest of the cards were bunched together in penny sleeves:
The contents:
Fabbri Canvas Young Guns is not available as it is on its way to BGS.
Everything else is up for grabs. Overall I probably wouldn't use the e-pack service. I understand the instant gratification angle but the markup that COMC and UD charge doesn't justify the time savings. All in it cost around $98 USD to open and receive these cards.
Thanks!
