2016 CFL Redemptions

My two redemption sets finally arrived today, a full month after they were mailed by Upper Deck. I don't know if anyone else noticed or had this but the postage on the parcel was German. Very strange?

I thought they did a good job overall with the Rookie Redemption set but I am surprised there wasn't one rookie, like the team's rookie of the year nominee, from each team.

I don't understand the player selection in their Veteran redemption set at all. Of the twelve cards in the set only the Andrew Harris and Bear Woods were updates. The remaining ten players had not changed teams during the season and unlike the Andrew Harris photo shoot card, their original base set cards were action photos. Any thoughts or comments?

I also wonder how many of these redemption sets will make it into circulation? There are only four posters in this thread and only a few more who regularly post in this football section. These could end up being fairly limited.

I think the purpose of the vet update was that it showed the players in their new uniforms as the remainder of the set was in the 2015 Jerseys.
